Gordy and Emma – what can we say as to how amazing you both were from first point of contact!   Two years ago up until my special day on 11/10/2025 – you both blew us right out the water!!

You are both amazing and brought everything we hoped to life and more!!

I don’t even know where to start.

We first met this dream team a few years ago at a family members wedding.  Not going to lie I fell in love with them that night & asked for their card.  Safe to say shortly after that we booked.

Gordy and Emma are beautiful people inside and out.  They truly go above and beyond.  From taking our booking nearly 4 years in advance to helping us with suggestions of pipers/sax players/ where to get hand fasting ties they literally did it all.

You think you book a DJ so far in advance you won’t hear from them til nearer the next day, but literally from the day we booked this pair became just an extension of our wedding party.  Always checking in, sending Christmas and birthday messages, just being there and checking all was good.

On the day they kept us calm and kept that dance floor going.  They made sure we were always laughing and smiling and had all of our guests having the best time.  They even taught our 3 year old daughter and 6 year old niece how to ceilidh dance.

Honestly cannot recommend them enough or thank them enough for being part of our journey. Everyone’s still talking about you guys a week later.

Our wedding was on 21 August 2025 and we can’t recommend them enough.  From the very first call to now weeks later they have been phenomenal.

We had a very unknown favourite song and they tracked it down and played it for us.  They were amazing at getting everyone on the dancefloor and all our guests raved about how good they were and the mix of music.

An added bonus they sent us videos they’d taken of the night so we had them whilst we were waiting on videographers and photographers etc and they took ones after the videographer and photographer had left.

Just such a lovely, lovely couple who genuinely care about doing the best possible job for you they can.  You really feel as though they are old friends and going out of their way for you but having seen all of their amazing reviews this is clearly just who they are.

We honestly can’t recommend them enough.  We won’t hesitate to use them again for any other events in future.

Gordy and Emma were ABSOLUTELY incredible from the moment we enquired about their services, until right up after our big day!  We got married on 25.5.25 and to say that it was incredible would be underselling it, Gordy kept the dancefloor full and Emma was an absolute diamond capturing all of our special moments/dances/songs interacting with guests and just making it a big old party.

We booked with Gordy as he was the only supplier on initial enquiry that picked the phone up and spoke to us.  His service is top tier, he made it personal, personable and tailored exactly to us!

We booked Gordy is a DJ for our wedding reception on 26/04/25 after reading all their positive reviews online.  We couldn’t be any happier with the service they provided!  10/10!

Gordy was amazing with the tunes and on the mic, and Emma was basically our wedding co-coordinator for the evening, taking wonderful videos and ensuring everything was running smoothly.

They were in contact periodically with us from the time we booked them, right through to the actual night.  They took the time to have a few calls with us and get to know us, our story, and the tunes etc we requested, as well as taking requests from our guests ahead of the night too!  They went above and beyond whats expected of a ‘normal’ DJ service, including doing some ceilidh, playing some games, getting the guests up on the floor, and just making us feel relaxed and able to enjoy the night without worrying.  Nothing was too much to ask of them and they couldn’t have been more approachable and kind.

We always knew we wanted a DJ for our wedding and as soon as we booked our venue we were on the hunt for someone good.  After looking through a lot of recommendations on bridal pages, Gordy is a DJ was a name that came up time and time again.  We put an enquiry form in and luckily, the date was available.  From the beginning, Gordy and Emma were so helpful, we had an initial call so we could tell them exactly what we wanted from our evening reception – a BIG PARTY and this is what we got!

On the run up to the day, Gordy and Emma were in touch frequently, even just checking in to see how we were which was so lovely.  They provide such a personal service.

I don’t even know where to begin talking about the evening…WOW!  Before we even made our entrance Gordy and Emma had the place jumping, the energy was amazing and the dance floor was packed the full night.  They took requests from guests, played some ceilidh songs, played a game of Mr and Mrs and even catered to our unusual request of asking for some “mosh pit” hits which went down an absolute storm!!

We had Gordy and Emma booked from pretty much the start of our wedding planning!

My partners mum had recently been to a wedding where they had been at and recommended them to us and were so glad we booked them.

3 full years near enough from having them booked to actually playing at our wedding and from the first conversation on they were the nicest people ever.  They constantly message to check in with you, see how you are, how you are doing etc and it’s just lovely.

Nothing was too much of an ask for them – we had asked for a specific version of a first dance and they delivered it exactly how we pictured it!  The dance floor was never empty and they knew exactly how to get the party started.

You would be silly to look anywhere else for a DJ as these 2 are just perfection!  The nicest duo you will meet!

We booked Emma and Gordy for our night time entertainment for 28/03/2025.  From the moment we first spoke with Gordy and Emma over a zoom call, we knew we had chose the right supplier for our DJ!  Both had us laughing over zoom and listened to exactly what we wanted.

On the day of our wedding they were so efficient, nothing was a problem for them.  They brought such an atmosphere to the evening reception and got everybody involved!  

We really loved the personal little gift they gave to us at the end, it’s very thoughtful and goes above and beyond what a supplier should do for you!

Where to start -from our very first meeting to after our wedding Gordy and Emma have just been absolutely amazing, we had their all day package which I would 100% recommend.

I just don’t know what I would of done without them, they do this for a living and do it brilliantly – everything flowed amazing all day, from music to walking down the aisle music and games at dinner welcoming us in for our meal and our 1st dance and then keeping our dance floor bouncing all night, they’ve been more like friends.

I’m so happy when I first spoke to them that they were available because I can’t actually imagine my wedding without them there, they’re just the most lovely and caring couple and it shines in what they do.

They actually gave us such a lovely sweet personalised present – it defintely brought tears to my eyes.  We absolutely love them and if you’ve not booked them I would do it, there’s a reason they win all the awards simply because they are just amazing.

Who else could we have chosen other than Gordy is a DJ for our wedding at Glenskirlie castle in November!  We opted to go for the full day package which included having Gordy and his amazing wife Emma in charge of all our music throughout the day.  I didn’t expect to see them the night before but they take their job so seriously that they didn’t want to take any chances with the snow and came to set up the night before the wedding.

I bumped into Emma when I was having a moment downstairs fairly early on the morning of the wedding and she just calmed me down.

Now we will get to the fun part.  Actually this couple are the fun part.  My guests haven’t stopped talking about all the little things like the little quiz they brought and the sing off between the boys and girls, they played Mr and Mrs and I’m even told there was a bit of a dance off going on before the reception started.

Gordy is an incredible DJ that definitely knows how to read the room (and when to give in to the Bride to play Nicki Minaj again) and Emma is just an amazing woman, they will definitely be counted as friends.  In the lead up to the wedding we had some good chats and discussed what we wanted from the day and they steered us in the right direction, since the wedding we have found that Emma is a secret videographer and has honestly captured some truly special moments and also some absolutely hilarious moments that I am so glad we will get to keep forever.  My guests were all mental anyway but this paid brought it out even more.

Gordy kept the party going but special shoutout to Emma for the water top ups throughout the day.

The biggest concern for my husband and I in regards to our wedding was needing a really good DJ.  We had planned a Scottish themed wedding and wanted to centre our reception around the idea of a good old fashioned Scottish family party.

Gordy completely surpassed all of our expectations!  We got married three weeks ago and our guests are all still talking about how good our DJ was and are looking for any excuse to have a party so that we can do it all over again!

We first found Gordy is a DJ on bridal pages on Facebook and after reading so many positive reviews and seeing all the amazing videos on his page we booked them with 2 years still to go before the big day!  When we first contacted Emma and Gordy they told us that they could even offer Ceilidh calling so we could have some Scottish dancing and OMG it was so much fun(although exhausting!!).

Gordy kept all our guests on the floor all night and even organised some last minute games to get guests back up and moving when the buffet interrupted the dancing atmosphere!  Throughout the planning process both Gordy and Emma made everything so easy and relaxing and planned an amazing night even though the only guidance we really gave was “ ceilidh” and “scottish family party”!   We had such a good range and mix of songs that our dance floor was never empty!

Another massive thank you has to go out to Gordy’s amazing Wife Emma, not only did she help with all the behind the scenes setup and keeping us updated and in the loop with anything we needed to arrange (first dance songs etc etc), she took so so many amazing videos throughout the reception that captured so many amazing moments we otherwise would have never got a chance to see and it means the absolute world to us!
