They made our wedding the best it could have been, they were part of the whole journey from the moment we contacted them.  They made sure that they kept in contact, and made sure our night was all we wanted it to be and more.

Everyone commented on how great the music was and how great the DJ was.

Following a terminal cancer diagnosis, we decided to renew our wedding vows as part of my bucket list.  As you would expect this was a highly emotional evening for my family and guests given the circumstances.  I have to say that the professionalism of Gordon and Emma completely made the night.

They were able to take a very difficult start to an evening and channel the emotion into a very happy, family evening which was quite remarkable given the circumstances and how our family and friends were feeling.

Gordon and Emma took time to get to know us as a couple and understand what the evening meant to us and how to involve our family.

Gordon and Emma, I don’t think could ever understand the magnitude of the memories they have given, in particular, our sons and grand- daughters but also our friends.

Only true professionals have a skill that can take such a sombre occasion and turn it into a remarkable evening that will help our family in the obstacles that are yet to come.

We have had occasions in the past where our dance floors have ranged from slow starts to mediocre.  However, Gordon and Emma kept the dance floor full the whole evening resulting in a true feeling of love and joy in the room.  Thank you for everything you have done.

From start to finish they were magnificent, even all throughout the pandemic where it hit the entertainment industry massively, they never let that dampen how they connected with you, always checking in and making sure we were doing ok.

Wow!  We feel so lucky to have found Gordy and Emma!  We enquired about availability through their website and within the hour, we were on the phone to Gordy getting all the information.  He was so easy to chat to and put us at ease immediately.  We had never booked a DJ before so didn’t have a clue what we were really looking for but after that call with Gordy, we knew we wanted them as our DJ for our wedding.

Once we had booked them for our wedding date, Emma and Gordy both added us on Facebook – we were getting to see them work at weddings and it blew us away.  They always had people up dancing and everyone always looked like they were having the best time.

A couple of months before our wedding we had a zoom call with Gordy and Emma to discuss what we wanted.  We’d decided to do a ceilidh to start and then have Gordy do his set.  Our guests were able to submit song requests to our personal link that Gordy had sent us.  Gordy and Emma were always only a message away and helped keep us calm when we had a problem with our first dance song.

On 17th September our wedding day had arrived and Gordy and Emma arrived promptly to set up for the evening reception.  As soon as we saw them, we were so excited!  I ran up to Emma, gave her a hug and we greeted each other like friends that had known each other forever.

Gordy and Emma gave us an amazing night that we will never forget.  Our guests all got involved and the dance floor was never empty.  They played a huge variety of songs to suit everybody.  We played Mr & Mrs after a short break to get everyone back in the mood and everyone has mentioned how much they enjoyed the reception and that’s all down to Gordy and Emma.

At the end of the night, Gordy played our first dance song again which meant the world to us (one of our groomsmen had sung and recorded our first dance song).  We were also presented with a gift – it was so special!

Since our wedding, I have kept in contact with Emma and love hearing how they are both getting on.  They are always busy travelling all over the country to DJ at weddings and we are so glad that they are as popular as they are.  They deserve all the success they have.  They are a married couple working together.  A team.  You can tell they have a wonderful supportive relationship in the way they work.  It’s fantastic and they are amazing people.

Honestly amazing!  From first enquiry even to now we’ve felt more like Gordy and Emma were friends than suppliers.

We submitted the online enquiry and within a couple of hours Gordy had called us, asked us questions, told us about their services and provided us with a quote.  From then on we had email chats with them and they promptly answered any queries we had. We then had a video call 6 weeks before our wedding where we went through everything.  Very thorough planning and they thought about every little detail – it made us feel so at ease.

On the day itself Gordy and Emma arrived promptly in plenty of time to set up.  They got all our guests in the party mood with a couple of warm up games and prizes – some of our guests are still buzzing about being the winning table ha ha!

We did some ceilidh songs throughout the evening which Gordy and Emma demonstrated for our guests and we also had guest requests.  Everyone had a blast and has said how much fun our reception was.  We also played Mr and Mrs which was a great laugh and we’ve had loads of comments about that too!

We just want to start by saying if we could give Gordy & Emma more than 5 stars (google review only allow 5!) we would!  They were both amazing and really know how to get the crowd going!

For the entire wedding reception they were on the ball and the music choice was fantastic.  There was never an empty dance floor and the little games that were added in were an amazing touch, we really loved them!

We booked Gordy and Emma for our wedding on Friday 3rd March 2023 at Dalmeny Park.  We had seen loads of great reviews in the lead up to us booking them.

After our first video call a few weeks prior to our big day, we knew we had made a great choice.  The effort they both put into our reception was incredible.

Our wedding reception was absolutely amazing and we’ve lost count of the amount of compliments our guests have mentioned to us regarding Gordy and Emma!

We had our wedding on the 1st of April at Carrick Castle Estate and we can honestly say if you are wanting to put the cherry on the cake at your wedding book Gordy and Emma as you will be in the best hands.  They really do know their stuff and had all our guests laughing, dancing and haven’t stopped talking about how good it was!!

Where to even start with my review for your guys!  From the moment I had my first initial call with Gordy, I knew you were the DJs for us. I’ve always said you get a gut feeling about suppliers, and my gut feeling was right with you both.

We booked with you away back in 2019, and actually booked with a few suppliers at the same time. You guys were one of the few who kept in touch with us regularly.

Lockdown hit and you were understandably worried about your own lives and lack of work, but Emma kept in touch with me throughout lockdown and spent a lot of time putting my own mind at ease with things; completely selfless and happy to help and answer any questions I had as the world started to open back up again. During that time, Emma and I became close; we both had our own life changes during lockdown, and we were able to confide in each other. Emma wasn’t just a supplier, she became a friend during that time and we still check in with each other even after our wedding.

We had our day on 18th September 2021 and you both went above and beyond. We needed background music for the reception dinner and you helpfully set all that up for us and handed in a USB drive to the venue.

To see you both in full swing during the evening reception was fantastic – you were on point with getting the party going, and more importantly keeping it going!  Everyone has raved about you both and everything that you did.  I won’t give away your trade secrets for new couples, but everything you did was amazing.  I still laugh at the pictures of Gordy on the dancefloor making sure everyone was dancing correctly!

It is clear that you both love what you do, and that comes across in every element.

Well – I’m not entirely sure where to start, I do not think words will cover how amazing Gordy and Emma are.

From the start whilst booking right through to the aftercare – they have been outstanding. These guys are the best in the business. Our guests were up on the floor all night including myself and my husband!

They kept our guests engaged by getting them all up to the dance floor for Mr and Mrs whilst eating their buffet! They totally outdone any expectations we had and more.

Gordy and Emma are an absolute dream and we can’t thank them enough for the amount of joy they brought to our special day!

Gordy and Emma- the perfect pair!!  Entertainment was one of the first things we booked, going back to 2017!!   We booked with them after reading so many fantastic reviews and many, many recommendations on quite a few bridal forums!

Excellent communication and extremely friendly from the word go!  We even met them at the SECC wedding fayre a few months later, and even though we had already booked them, they still stood and chatted away to me and my mum as if we had known each other for years!

Lead up to the wedding we kept in constant touch.  Gordy & Emma made sure they had every last detail from us and made sure everything was perfect!  On the night I felt like i was reuniting with my friends I hadnt seen for years when I saw them!  They were so excited to be part of our wedding and made sure my husband and I felt their excitement and genuine interest in being there, that was so so appreciated!!

They went over the plan of the night with us and made sure we were still ok with everything.  We felt extremely involved which is also so important!  My husband and I went away for photos for 20 mins.. we came back to our venue and the roof was RAISED!  It was only half seven!!!! They had EVERYONE up giving it “laldy” and we had a very big wedding!  I have recently learned they were all competing for a bottle of fizz!  Cracking idea- but had I been there, I’d have won it! LOL!

The whole night was amazing, the dancefloor was never empty!  My guests are still going on about them almost a month later!  The interaction with the crowd was amazing too!  We thought there was no way they could top this amazing job they did for us…. until the very end of the night!  They came to us to say goodnight and gave us a bottle of fizz and a card to say congratulations! That was a beautiful touch, these weren’t just suppliers that provided a service for us for a night, they are friends!

These two are amazing at what they do and are genuinely amazing people!  Huge hearts and they put them into their work!  I CANNOT and will never recommend them enough!!!  They made our wedding!!  

Where do I start? My husband and I live abroad so a lot of our communication was via email and they were always quick to respond!  Then we had a FaceTime to introduce ourselves and instantly we really liked them!  Gordon is really passionate about what he does and Emma compliments him by bringing a woman’s touch with all her attention to detail!

Whilst Gordon is the talent, Emma is the brains and the boss!!  They are incredibly warm, genuine and friendly. Nothing we asked was a problem and as we had such an international wedding (my husband is from Texas but is Lebanese) they even sourced and found specific Arabic songs the groom’s mum had requested.

Obviously, everyone thinks their own wedding is amazing because it’s your day surrounded by your loved ones but for your guests of all ages to be on the dancefloor all evening and rave about how much fun they had and watch videos of your guests the next day on the dancefloor with wigs and air guitars speaks for itself!  They brought the roof down on our wedding night whilst providing every single request we asked for!  Emma’s womanly touch was just the icing on the cake, when we were presented with some lovely gifts.

Well where can we start with these two wonderful people… Need a wedding DJ?  Then seriously look no further, we can’t imagine you’ll find anyone better out there so save yourself the stress of looking.

We were lucky enough to have them at our wedding few weeks ago, they really are the perfect duo, we didn’t even need to look elsewhere as the minute we spoke to Gordy on the phone we knew we would go with them – he was just delightful, funny and really easy going and instantly put our minds at ease, nothing was a problem and then came his lovely wife Emma.

They came to see us a few weeks before the wedding and they were just lovely, we instantly gelled as though we had known them for years.  They gave great advice and nothing was an issue, even random questions day and night were instantly answered with a smile, it was effortless.

There was great communication right up until the wedding and the evening itself was absolutely perfect, they really know how to get the party started and all the guests commented on their approach to getting everyone up on their feet.  It was great to see and best of all they had my mum and dad dancing all night and my dad just doesn’t dance… ! 

The lighting was perfect, we didn’t have a clue what we wanted and their advice was spot on, it looked great.

We really can’t thank them enough for adding to our special day and their lovely little gifts at the end of the night were such a lovely thoughtful touch, that just sums up what lovely people they really are.

They really do provide that personal touch and not just before the wedding, we’ve even stayed in touch which is lovely considering the amount of people they deal with.

Gordy is a DJ was outstanding!   From first contact they could not have been nicer, we had a video chat prior to our big day to go through everything we hoped to get from our night.

They met all of our needs and more!   From the start to the end of the night, the tunes were BANGING!  Gordy kept the crowd going and even played a few more “last songs!”.

Out of 10, we would give them 11.

Would highly recommend – BEST DJ EVER!  Shame we can’t get married every week lol.

We had Gordy and Emma DJ at our wedding and what can we say they absolutely smashed it.

From getting the guests hyped up, keeping the dance floor filled, to making everyone have a laugh and enjoy the evening. They went above and beyond their call of duty prior to the wedding and after the wedding.

We had to re arrange our wedding twice due to Covid and nothing was too much trouble for these guys.

Well there is a lot I can say about Gordy & Emma!  They are such an amazing duo and we are thankful we booked them for our wedding.

We are not band people and we love DJ sets. So it was a no brainer for us to book Gordy when him and Emma were highly recommended to us on a Facebook page for brides.

Gordy and Emma were the duo we really needed for our day!

They really do take care to get to know you prior to your wedding.

They were also fantastic with our two sons. We made a couple of slight changes to what we wanted entertainment wise and it wasn’t an issue at all!  Still in contact with them and even received some videos from Emma of our night that were totally unexpected but so lovely to watch back!

We booked Gordy and Emma waaaaaayyyyy back in 2018, yep 2018!!  We knew from the moment we spoke to them that we were like YES we WANT them!  Not to mention having reviewed all of their amazing comments on their facebook page and website!

Over time, Emma and I would message regularly checking in and just having a good old chat – a friendship had begun!  If I needed any advice on anything Emma and Gordy were always there on hand to help.  Nothing was ever a bother and it was for anything wedding related, not just music!

Then covid hit……and we had to cancel our wedding on 19th March 2020, the day before out big day.  I remember talking to them on the day we cancelled hearbroken and while it was also a hellish time for suppliers, they were there supporting us and checking in on us.  We had to reschedule several times, we were gutted we lost them, but thankfully got them back (cue AIR PUNCH when they said they were free and could do our reception).

My oh my….they did not disappoint!!!  Well worth the wait!  What a night, what a party! We had an absolute ball as did all of our guests who have all said they had a great night.  My feet are in bits as I did not stop dancing all night thanks to the quality tunes!

They were just phenomenal and all of the wee touches throughout the night were brilliant and thoughtful (not telling you their secrets, you will need to wait and see!).  Absolutely 100% recommend – you NEED to book these guys.

Well where do I start with Gordy and Emma?  They were nothing short of fantastic!

Our wedding was Bulgarian/Scottish, which meant that the music for the evening reception included some unknown tunes.  The way Gordy and Emma mixed the songs they had never heard before with everything else was absolutely flawless! Everyone had a great time and it was as if Gordy and Emma knew the Bulgarian songs Haha!

The whole evening went very smoothly with a full dancefloor at all times, due to the fantastic mix of music to please all ages, cultures and tastes!  The evening ended with an amazing Loch Lomond rendition and we even got a framed disc of our first dance song as a gift!  So thoughtful!!!

We cannot thank you enough!  You did exactly what we wanted and more!  Amazing couple of professionals.

Finding entertainment for your wedding is one of the most high pressure decisions you need to make. It really can make or break your reception. Gordy and Emma are definitely the way to go if you want the dancefloor full all night!

They were both absolutely brilliant! They are such down to earth, personable people who make you feel completely at ease. They communicated excellently throughout the whole process; they really do know exactly what it takes to get people up on the dancefloor having an amazing time!

They took so many details from us before the big day, making sure they had the right versions of the first dance and father/daughter dance songs, when we wanted to play certain songs etc. They sent the song links they were using for these formal dances, so we had complete peace of mind that it was the right ones which I’m sure people agree helps massively when you have so many other things causing stress at that point.

On the night they had the guests hyped up before we even entered the room, this made it such an amazing atmosphere to walk into. It just added so much excitement to an already amazing day!

I don’t think my wife or I spent a single second sitting down after the cake cutting. We danced the entire night, along with the rest of our guests. The dancefloor wasn’t empty at all the whole night! Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how fantastic the entertainment was.

The only complaint we have is that the night was so amazing, it went by way too fast! ❤️

I honestly cannot rate you both highly enough, you made my wedding day so special and very enjoyable!

My entrance music was pitched perfectly as was the signing of the register and walking out songs. That meant so much to me.

As you know from our ceremony schedule our favourite thing to do is to dance with each other after having a couple of drinks!   Well I pretty much danced all night.  Every time I went to leave the dance floor another fab song came on ha ha!

I thought you were amazing with the kids, that was so nice. Wow, your introduction to the evening, that was brilliant! EVERYONE was up and singing. I got very emotional – you are both brilliant at what you do.

I can’t quite believe it’s all over now but I had the most amazing time thanks to you both.  Thank you so much for the gift, it’s got pride of place in the house!

Friends from Perth and Glasgow have said it’s the BEST wedding they’ve been to in a long time!!!

Well what can we say, if you book with this dynamic duo you will not be disappointed!!!  We had them as our wedding DJs on the 01.02.20 and they blew every other DJ out of the water.

Before meeting them in our pre wedding catch up, they both helped giving advice on suppliers, lighting and how to keep calm about guests. They even knew to ignore the wrong date we initially gave them!!

There are NO words to describe Gordy and Emma.  They’re absolutely unbelievable.  It’s not a surprise that they have won awards for what they do.

They took on guest requests, a custom first dance, a couple of ceilidh numbers (demo included) and just got so involved but in the best possible way.  Our guests have commented on it being a “non stop party” and said they are the best DJs they’ve ever seen.

Emma also took some videos and they made us a mini montage of the last few songs from our night.  Our feet have only just recovered cause we didn’t stop dancing for a minute!!

We had Gordon & Emma at our wedding earlier this month and they did NOT disappoint!!  We decided not to have a band at our wedding so for us, finding the right ‘DJ’ was very crucial to making sure the evening reception was as amazing as we wanted it to be.

I put DJ in inverted commas because what we got was more than your average DJ – we got 2 funny, kind and incredibly talented people who from the moment they set up their equipment, had the party started.   As me and my new husband watched at the side before coming on for our first dance, Gordy has the best way I have ever seen to get the crowd going and ready to party (I will keep it a secret for anyone who books in future) and from there on set the tone of the night – the best party ever which is exactly what we wanted!  We suggested a few songs that we would like to hear and Gordy and Emma were able to create the best playlist with a mix of cheesy to dance to 80s to Usher (my fave!!!)

THANK YOU so much for an absolutely wonderful night on Saturday!  Your service was outstanding, and we had the best night of our lives!

Getting the guests on their feet from the get-go with the “craziest table” competition really got everyone in the party atmosphere, we were watching from behind the glass doors and couldn’t believe our eyes! The videographer Geoff was amazed – he said he’s filmed over 600 weddings, and has never seen that done before, he thought it was excellent!

Mr & Mrs took us totally by surprise, it was hilarious, what a great idea! The little touch of giving us the No 1 song on a disc was really sweet as well. You played all our songs, and the guests requests, and it seemed like nothing was a bother at all for you guys (even that mental Eurovision number!!) The ending was brilliant, nobody wanted you to stop, it was a complete high, just like we wanted!

The customer service we received from you from the moment of meeting at the wedding fayre, right through to Saturday night was second- to-none, you are both genuinely lovely people. We’ve included a photo of us from our first dance which summed it up for us – in the background, you can see Emma clapping along.

Despite the fact you must see this stuff week in week out, you both seemed genuinely happy for us and were as enthusiastic as I am sure you were on day one of starting your business. For that, more than anything else, we are so grateful. We’ll be recommending you to everyone – not that we really need to, because they’re already all coming to us, asking about you! Honestly thanks again!!
